Dr. Charles E. Jones, D.D.S.,P.C.
I am the product of a blue collar Midwestern family that taught me the value of hard work and dedication. After serving five years in the United States Air Force, I attended California State Sacramento, and then the number 2 ranked dental school in the country, the University of Nebraska. I completed two externships, one in Public Health in Washington State and one at Indian health Services in Flagstaff, Arizona. In 2005 I purchased a smaller dental practice in Brookings, Oregon where I spent the next eight years growing and establishing myself not only as the premier dental office in town but as a real community member. My wife and I were involved in volunteer dentistry with Medical Teams International, community health programs, and last but not least, coaching and mentoring. I coached at the recreation level as well as the high school level for both boys and girls. I have a strong belief in the power of mentoring and growth through sports.
My wife and our four children are so grateful to be a part of this beautiful community. We continue to support the community in coaching and mentoring, fundraising and community volunteer service.
I love to spend time with my wife and family. We love the Ashland community and the beautiful trails, mountains and lakes in the area. My individual passions are coaching basketball and competing at Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Hello there! I graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Science - Dental Hygiene.
A few interesting facts about me are, before I started at this office in 2012, I lived in New Zealand for a year working as a dental hygienist. I recently married a very lovely fellow from there and we live happily with our two dogs. Upon meeting me you will soon figure out I love what I do. As far as I’m concerned I have the best job ever. You can always count on being greeted with a smile and sincere dedication to your dental needs.
“There are only two things you can control in life, attitude and effort” -A very wise patient
I've been in the dental industry since 1995. I’ve had the pleasure of being part of The Jones Family Dental team since 2017.
Patient advocacy has been a passion and a challenge that has always lined up with my overall enjoyment of people. Building personal relationships, working through treatment concerns and creating financial plans has inspired my desire to grow in all of those skills as much as I can.
There’s nothing like the satisfied look on a patients face when they’ve navigated the sometimes confusing world of insurance/financing and the unknown of treatment to come out the other end with an even bigger better smile. To calm fears, answer questions and help make treatment possible, especially in a soothing environment is rewarding to me.
Another passion of mine is my family! I cannot spend enough time with my husband Jeff, and and our children. Whether traveling or playing around the house they make my heart smile!
I grew up here, graduating from North Medford high school. In 2014 I got married and moved to Virginia Beach where I spent two years there and attended Dental assisting school while my husband was in the U.S Navy. When I’m not at work I enjoy the outdoors, baking, movie nights and anything animal related. I’m known around the office as the animal lady, and will always stop for a lost animal. I love getting to know all our patients on personal level while making them feel comfortable, and helping make the appointment enjoyable.
I have been in the dental field since I was 18 years old. I have worked in many different settings of the dental field from general dentistry, Oral surgery/Implants and public health. It has been a huge privilege to help so many people over the years to improve their health and life on such a close personal level. Another very rewarding part of being in the dental field is that you get to work so closely with a team of individuals who share your same passion and I absolutely adore my team of fellow dental geeks here at Jones Family Dental. I have been married to my husband since we were 23. Our favorite thing about living in southern Oregon is spending our summers in the lakes and on the rivers. Our hobby that is a labor of love for us is classic cars and car shows. We even have fun dressing the part on some occasions.
I look forward to meeting you and making your visit as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.
